This exclusive club for the ultra-rich is on the search for immortality
As reported by Business Insider (March 25, 2023), R360, the invitation-only network co-led by managing partner Charles Garcia, has established a Wellness and Longevity Circle for members seeking to extend both lifespan and healthspan. Membership in R360 requires a net worth of at least $100 million, and the group’s initiatives reflect its focus on six forms of capital, including human and physical well-being.
The Wellness and Longevity Circle, co-chaired by real estate entrepreneur Peter Fioretti, brings together 25 ultra-wealthy members and their families to explore cutting-edge approaches to healthy aging. Activities have included visits to biotech labs such as Celularity, which develops stem cell therapies, and Harvard’s anti-aging research lab led by Professor David Sinclair, who serves as the club’s “scientific ambassador.” The group also studies practices from Blue Zones, explores psychedelic therapies for mental health, and sponsors extreme endurance events to raise awareness for wellness causes.
According to Business Insider, some members invest in longevity-focused ventures ranging from health-tracking apps to advanced stem cell research, while others participate for educational and charitable reasons. To protect against unproven claims in the wellness market, R360’s in-house due diligence team screens opportunities and conducts background checks before members commit capital.
The feature portrays R360 not just as a wealth network, but as a community where the ultra-wealthy channel resources into scientific innovation and personal well-being — with the goal of living longer, healthier, and more purpose-driven lives.
